Himanshu
20-year-old dropout. Former startup founder. Bridging AI research and production engineering.
I dropped out of NIT KKR in my 3rd year to build AuraX — a fashion-tech startup funded by IIIT-H. After beating Google and Stable Diffusion in virtual try-on quality and signing deals with Aditya Birla, I learned that timing matters as much as tech. Now I build products that scale.
Built a community that outlived me.
In my 2nd year at NIT Kurukshetra, I started SynthAiLabs (OpenEdu) — part startup, part movement. I hand-selected 500 students from 2,000 and built an accelerated learning community. Students were completing 6 months of curriculum in just 2.
The revenue model was B2B: companies could distribute coupons to students, and I'd sell outsourced learning materials and software to companies training their employees. But funds were always the bottleneck.
What happened after I stopped was the real validation— juniors restarted and continued it on their own. It had given them something worth continuing.
Dropped out. Built tech that beat Google.
I dropped out in my 3rd year to co-found AuraX, a fashion-tech startup incubated at IIIT-Hyderabad's CIE. We researched diffusion models for virtual try-on and built a pipeline that outperformed Google, Stable Diffusion, and every Indian competitor in quality benchmarks.
We signed a deal with Aditya Birla Fashion Group and several brands under Mensa Brands. Real revenue. Real contracts.
But the space moved fast. Larger players with deeper pockets entered. We ran out of runway. I made the call to close AuraX — not because the tech failed, but because the timing wasn't on our side.
Pause. Reset. Rebuild.
After closing AuraX, I took intentional time off. I studied finance to understand the business mistakes I'd made. I focused on health — something I'd ignored for two years of building.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop.
Building products that scale.
I'm now focused on building real, shippable products — open-source platforms, high-performance infrastructure, and AI tooling. No more chasing fundraising; just building things that work and scale.
Selected Work
Things I've built recently — from AI platforms to high-performance infrastructure.
OpenCrow
Open-source AI agent platform for embedding intelligent customer support assistants into web applications.
AI Inference Platform
High-performance AI inference platform with intelligent model routing — classifies query complexity via embeddings and heuristics, routing simple queries to fast/cheap models and complex ones to GPT-4 class models.
TuneSLM
Drop your dataset and answer a few questions — get an ipynb notebook ready for Google Colab to fine-tune your SLM of choice, powered by Unsloth.
MockServer
Cli tool to build mock backend solution featuring a GUI for building frontend while backend in under dev
FastSearch
Developed a Rust-based private search engine, providing an alternative to Google Search with privacy-focused features.
FallenAngel-SE/CY
A cutting-edge suite of AI tools designed for development and cybersecurity
Research
Published and ongoing work in AI, generative models, and cryptography.

Let's build something.
Whether it's a complex engineering challenge, a research collaboration, or just a chat about AI — I'm always open.
